Zimbabwe:
The landlocked country of Zimbabwe is a captivating land of teak
woodlands, granite outcrops and diverse wildlife. But it is the
mighty Victoria Falls, one of the greatest natural wonders on
earth, that provides the country with its most compelling attraction.
Below the Falls the narrow Zambezi gorge offers the most exciting
and safest Grade 5 white-water rafting in the world. Bungi-jumpers
and other adventurers flock here to pit their skill against the
Zambezi’s might, whilst more leisurely travellers soak in
the area’s stunning beauty and wildlife.
Surrounding Victoria Falls, enjoy exceptional wildlife viewing
in the wilderness areas which stretch into Botswana, Zambia and
Namibia’s Caprivi Strip. Cross the border into nearby Chobe
National Park to view herds of elephant, or take advantage of
the many safari excursions around Victoria Falls itself. |
