The
Garden Route (6 days):
Departing from Cape Town, drive east to the popular coastal town
of Hermanus, renowned for its whale watching. Here you spend 2
nights at the luxurious Western Cape Hotel and Spa, The Marine
Hermanus or the charming Auberge Burgundy. On Day 3, drive to
the forested retreat of Knysna with its beautiful lagoon, or to
nearby Plettenberg Bay with its beaches, dunes and lagoons. Spend
3 nights at either Belvidere Manor or Falcons View Manor in Knysna,
or at The Plettenberg, Plettenberg Park, The Lodge on the Bay,
Bosavern Guest House, Lairds Lodge Country Estate or Hunter’s
Country House around Plettenberg Bay. On Day 6 return to Cape
Town by road or air, or continue along the spectacular coastline
to the Eastern Cape.
