Town & the Winelands:
With
its glorious beaches, famous Table Mountain, stunning mountain
drives, historical wine estates and some of the world’s
finest hotels and food, Cape Town offers a breathtaking array
of attractions. Table Mountain dominates the city with its famous
white tablecloth, whilst in the mountain ranges to the north are
magnificent, historical Cape Dutch wine estates. Apart from enjoying
fine beaches, such as Clifton, Camps Bay, Llandudno, St James
and Boulders, visit the area’s Big Six attractions; Table
Mountain, with its scenic views and hiking trails; Robben Island,
where Nelson Mandela was incarcerated during the apartheid era;
Cape Point, where the Indian and Atlantic oceans meet; Kirstenbosch
Gardens with its floral splendour; Victoria & Alfred Waterfront,
with its lively bars, restaurants and shops; and the Cape winelands,
producer of world-class wines. The Cape, and indeed South Africa,
is a wonderful self-drive destination with scenic routes and excellent
roads giving you the freedom to explore as you will on and off
