The
Desert Express:
The romantic option of travel by rail provides a moving experience
of Namibia. The Desert Express train allows the changing panoramas
to unfold before your eyes; the mystic beauty of the ancient desert,
the rolling grasslands of the pre-Namib and the bushveld of the
interior; all from the comfort of your (air-conditioned) carriage.
The Desert Express operates twice a week between Windhoek and
Swakopmund and frequently visits Etosha National Park. Its timetable
has been designed to take in the glorious sunrises and sunsets,
and 2 excursions are included. |
