Nyika
Plateau
& Lake Malawi (8 days):
On
Day 1 fly from Lilongwe International Airport to Nyika National
Park. Here you stay at Chelinda Lodge, its 8 beautifully appointed
log cabins offering panoramic views over the high Nyika Plateau.
For the next 3 days explore this lovely park by vehicle, on foot,
on horseback or mountain bike, viewing unusual wildlife, birdlife
and flora. On Day 5 a short flight takes you to Likoma Island
in Lake Malawi. Here, you stay at romantic Kaya Mawa, spending
2 days swimming, scuba-diving, snorkelling, exploring the island,
or simply enjoying the local hospitality. On Day 8 transfer back
to Lilongwe. |
