Linyanti
& Selinda Concession Camps:
The
Linyanti River area in northern Botswana also experiences seasonal
flooding, attracting herds of elephant, buffalo, and attendant
predators. The luxurious Kings Pool, or more authentic Duma Tau,
can be found in this verdant region. The nearby Selinda spillway
creates an occasional lifeline of water into this Mopane-belt
north of the Okavango. Explore this little known area by open
vehicle or on foot from the traditional safari camps of Selinda
or Zibalianja, which should be experienced for at least 2 nights.
